Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, HJ Hospitals has been adopting various quality measures to ensure the safety of its staff and visitors. To provide complete care, the organisation has initiated several innovative hygiene standards to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. The staff members are being consistently trained to maintain hand hygiene (i.e. to wash hands properly) and better cleaning standards at the hospital.
To strengthen their resolve and motivate the staff, HJ Hospitals organised its quarterly staff recognition event and award ceremony on 8th September, 2020 for the second quarter (April’ 20 - June’ 20) of the year. The event aimed at expressing gratitude towards every individual serving the healthcare sector directly or indirectly during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The frontline staff members working across various departments at the HJ Hospitals who extended exemplary support during this global crisis were recognised by the top management and felicitated at the event. In the nursing staff, Ms Issey Christine, Mr Bolabelo Amba Nathan, Ms Zohra Frigui and Ms Divyaben Fatesing Rathod were acknowledged for their dedication and hard work. Mr Tshibangu Biayi, Mr Gedeon Ibanda Mutombo and Mr Ganapathi Rao Burja of the Facility Management Department were felicitated.
Mr Konkose Ikenga Fils and Mr Chandrashekhar Budaniya were recognised for serving the Emergency and Special Services Department with utmost excellence. For providing the best customer services at the HJ Hospitals, Ms Mushiya Ilunga Christine and Ms Mariem Bayaoui were felicitated. Mr Musombwa Kamalebo Jim, Mr Ramesh Vaviya and Mr Dhipu Mathew were awarded as the Best Paramedics of the Quarter. Mr Moise Kibonge Luege and Mr Jibbin Manapurathu Thomas bagged the title 'Employee of the Quarter'.
HJ Presidency Award Quarter - II was honorably received by Mr Santosh Kumar (Senior Manager, Department of Hospitality and Quality) and Dr Ritesh Shah (DyMS, Clinical)- both have completed two years of exceptional service at the HJ Hospitals in August this year. The ceremony was graced by Mr Sachin Gidwani (Vice President), Mr Amit Chauhan (CEO), Mr Jean Mukenge (Director Générale Délégué) and Dr Aime Lokulutu (Medecin Directeur) who also presented awards to all our warriors. They congratulated all the winners and expressed their gratitude to the entire team at the HJ Hospitals for their contribution amid the pandemic. All the ceremonial processions were conducted by adhering to the COVID-19 safety guidelines and the event was concluded successfully.
